POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- One person was seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash on Monday evening.
Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) stated the crash happened at 7:10 p.m. on August 19, along Highway 158, roughly eight miles south of Poplar Bluff.
MSHP said a 55-year-old man from Harviell, Missouri, was driving a 2018 Ford F150 going west when it failed to yield to a 2013 Ford F120, driven by a 57-year-old.
Authorities reported the F150 then ran off the right side of the road, hit a bridge and then landed in a ditch.
MSHP said the 55-year-old was air-lifted to Region One in Memphis with serious injuries.
The 55-year-old was also reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
