WAYNE COUNTY, Mo. (WSIL) -- UPDATE: This person is now in custody according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
ORIGINAL: October 2, 10:15 p.m. - Police are looking for a man who is a person of interest in an assault investigation.
Missouri State Highway Patrol said at 1:10 p.m. on October 2, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office were notified about report regarding an assault with guns. Authorities said this was in the area of County Road 524 and 509, near the community of Lowndes.
State police said they are looking for Eric "Quinn" Moore as a person of interest in this case.
MSHP detailed a vehicle Moore may be driving which was described as a 1999 white Ford dually with stainless steel exhaust stacks.
