PERRYVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- Tornadoes damaged some schools in our area. One of them was in Perryville which has left kids out of class for the entire week.
After taking a hit from an EF-2 tornado, staff at the Perry County School District have made some adjustments to their classrooms and schedules to get the students back to school as soon as possible.
Some students are scheduled to return back to class as early as Monday. Those would be students at the Perryville Primary Center.
For Elementary students grades 3 through 5, they are scheduled to come back next Wednesday on March 26.
However, there is not a timetable for middle and high school students to return back to class at this time.
