CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (WSIL) -- A Missouri teenager was killed in a crash late Saturday night when the SUV he was driving overturned of County Road 472.
According to the from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 17-year-old driver from Friedheim, Missouri was the only person involved in the crash.
He was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe 11:22 p.m. westbound on County Road 472 east of County Road 471, when for some reason traveled off the roadway, struck an embankment and rolled over.
The driver was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
