New scam alert for Citizens Deposit Bank customers in Carlisle County

Authorities warn of scam impersonating a local bank

CARLISLE COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) � The Carlisle County Sheriff's Office is warning of a new scam affecting customers of Citizens Deposit Bank. 

The scam is in the form of a text message which looks like the one in the above photo. 

Officials with the bank say this is not from them and someone is impersonating the business. 

The sheriff's office advises against clicking the link or providing personal information. 

If you receive the message, please contact the bank directly.Â
