PADUCAH (WSIL) -- A plane landed safely Monday afternoon at Barkley Regional Airport, after a pilot reported an engine on fire.
At 12:15 p.m. air traffic control was notified of an aircraft inbound with engine fire. At 12:16 p.m. Barkley Airport fire and rescue contacted central dispatch requested mutual aid from other agencies while responding to the runway where the plane was going to land.
At 12:18 the aircraft, a Learjet 60 with 2 people on board, landed safely without incident. No one on board was injured.
