Overnight Marshall County crash causes brief power outage for some customers

Intersection reopened after late night crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) � The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says an intersection was temporarily closed for several hours after a crash. 

Officials say the crash happened around midnight at Union Hill and KY 1824 intersection. 

Officials have yet to state what caused the crash, yet KYTC says it caused damage to a light pole and power lines. 

The intersection was shut down for around three hours while crews fixed the damage. 

The intersection was reopened by around 3 a.m.
