PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- Investigators in McCracken County, Kentucky arrested a man they said stole a gun out of car last month then used it in a incident Saturday morning.
It all started June 28th when deputies from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office got a call of a suspected prowler and responded to Cimmaron Way in Paducah.Â
The alleged prowler got away but investigators picked up surveillance video from the homeowner, that they said, showed a man with distinctive hair and tattoos producing a handgun near the cars outside the house. The victim reported a handgun stolen at that time.Â
With the public's help investigators said that man is identified as Kalib Walker, 25, of Paducah, Ky.Â
Walker was arrested after what they call "a disturbance" with the gun at 7:00 AM Saturday morning on Nace Lane.Â
Walker is lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail, on charges of theft by unlawful taking-firearm, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and five counts of first degree wanton endangerment.
