WASHINGTON (WREX) � Illinois Governor JB Pritzker will be at the White House on Wednesday.
The governor will be joining President Biden along with a bipartisan group of governor’s and mayors from around the country.
The meeting will be discussing the that has surpassed $3.5 trillion.
The president will underscore that infrastructure has long been a bipartisan issue, and that there’s agreement across the aisle on the need to make investments in the economy and middle class that will create millions of jobs and help outcompete the rest of the world in the 21stÌý³¦±ð²Ô³Ù³Ü°ù²â.
The president will also note some of the areas where Democrats and Republicans were able to come together on in the Bipartisan Framework, including generational investments in removing lead pipes, expanding universal access to high-speed internet, expanding transit options, and rebuilding roads and bridges.
President Biden was in Crystal Lake, Illinois where he discussed the infrastructure deal as well as the Build Back Better agenda.
