
CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- It has been a cloudy and chilly day. Winds have shifted out of the northwest, and temperatures have dropped into the mid 40s. It's definitely feeling like November.
Clouds will be slow to clear Wednesday. Mostly cloudy skies are expected most of the day, with some peaks of sunshine by the afternoon. High temperatures will stay below average, only topping out in the upper 40s.
Thanksgiving is looking like the nicest day of the week. The sunshine will return and temperatures will climb back above average. Highs will be much warmer, climbing into the upper 50s.Â
The clouds and cooler temperatures return Friday. If you're doing any holiday shopping, you may want to break the jackets back out. Highs will drop back into the upper 40s.
The region will stay dry through Saturday, but small rain chances return Sunday.
