CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The SIU Football Salukis play their first home game of the season Saturday evening.
The university is once again teaming with Black Diamond Harley Davidson for "Hawgs and Dawgs."
Motorcycle riders will gather at 5:30 p.m. at the south tunnel entrance of Saluki Stadium to lead the Saluki football team onto the field just prior to kickoff.
The event provides fans with an unforgettable night of football and motorcycles.
Those riders were able to purchase discounted tickets and commemorative T-shirts for the game.
Many riders will start from the Black Diamond Dealership in Marion and ride together to Saluki Stadium starting at 4:30.
It is also "Faith & Family Night" at Saluki Stadium.
Area churches and faith groups can have their organizations recognized on the video board during the game.
The 9th-ranked Salukis (1-1) will host 12th-ranked Incarnate Word (1-1) at 6:00 p.m. Saturday.
