More than a hundred people made it out to Emery Brothers' Extreme Christmas Skate Sunday.
The annual event is a local favorite that brings out the ugly sweaters, Christmas hats, and other holiday decorations.
Each year, the skating rink provides a limited number of free passes through schools in Williamson County.
Tonya Mathews, co-owner of the rink, says it's their way of giving back and allowing children an opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy their holiday break.
"We're hoping they're out here just enjoying some Christmas time before all the hussel and bussel - trying to get away from the hussel and bussel of the shopping and the traffic. Come out and have a good time with the family and kids and just let them enjoy it before the holiday break."

If you're looking for a little exercise after Christmas, Emery Brothers will hold extended sessions leading up to their New Year's Eve party beginning Monday 29th.
That party is from 7pm until 1am and includes hats, party favors, and noise makers.
