WEST FRANKFORT (WSIL)--There are a few companies in our area that specialize in excavation.
They do things like hauling dirt and rock.
But once the snow starts falling, these companies can be hired to plow snow from your driveways and parking lots.
When you have long drive ways or a large parking lot for customers, shoveling snow by yourself can take ages.
But companies like Middle Fork Creek Excavating Company use their equipment and machinery to clear off snow.
Prices for these services vary, but manager Andrew Crawford can give a baseline price to start.
"It usually starts somewhere around a hundred dollars and up. It just depends on how far and big," said Crawford.
Crawford said they usually start plowing early in the mornings, to make sure business owners and their customers have places to park.
