JEFFERSON COUNTY, IL (WSIL) -- Two people are charged with murder following an investigation out of Jefferson County.
Sheriff's deputies say Treyaveon Massie, 23, and Retha McIntire, 43, both of Evansville, Indiana, are now charged with murder.Â
Police showed up to the Rolling Meadows Trailer Park Thursday evening for a shooting. When officers arrived, they found 46-year-old Cadias Jackson dead from multiple gunshot wounds.Â
After a shot search, a suspect vehicle was found and Massie and McIntire were arrested. They are being held in the Jefferson County Jail.
A third suspect was taken into custody, but later released.
