Three arrested in connection to stolen vehicles investigation

ENERGY, Ill. (WSIL) � Three people were arrested after authorities said they recovered two stolen vehicles.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said their deputies found a stolen Dodge Ram truck parked at a Huck’s fuel pump at Route 148 and Highway 13, on March 12, at 11:17 p.m.

The truck was reported stolen from Nashville, Illinois.

The sheriff’s office then saw people from inside the convenience store walk out, get into the vehicle and leave. Deputies then pulled the car over.

Inside the vehicle was Jeremy Weir, Lucille Odam and Kelsi N. Wingo, the sheriff’s office reported.

The sheriff’s office then said they found Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia and a key fob to a Ford Mustang. Deputies said they knew of a Ford Mustang stolen out of Carbondale. 

In continuation of the investigation, deputies went to the 1500-block of Brittany Lane in Marion where they said they found a stolen white Ford Mustang parked in the street.

The sheriff’s office then reported deputies finding dozens of vehicle titles, along with other documents which they said was stolen from a Carbondale automotive dealership. 

Both of the reported stolen vehicles were then towed away and in the possession of the police to investigate further.

Gas was also later reported stolen from a business in the 1800-block of North Court Street as well.

  • Possession Of Stolen Vehicle - Class 2 Felony
  • Possession of Stolen Essential Parts - Class 2 Felony 
  • Possession Of Methamphetamines - Class 3 Felony
  • Criminal Damage to Property Over $10,000 but less than $100,000. - Class 3 Felony 
  • Violation of Pre-Trial Release - Class 4 Felony 
  • Illegal Possession of Titles  - Class 4 Felony
  • Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia- Class A Misdemeanor
  • Criminal Damage to Property Under $500 - Class A Misdemeanor.

Kelsi Wingo

  • Possession Of Stolen Vehicle - Class 2 Felony
  • Possession of Stolen Essential Parts  - Class 2 Felony 
  • Possession Of Methamphetamines - Class 3 Felony
  • Criminal Damage to Property Over $10,000 but less than $100,000 - Class 3 Felony 
  • Violation of Pre-Trial Release  - Class 4 Felony 
  • Illegal Possession of Titles - Class 4 Felony
  • Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia - Class A Misdemeano 
  • Criminal Damage to Property Under $500 - Class A Misdemeanor 

Lucille Odam

  • Possession Of Stolen Vehicle - Class 2 Felony
  • Possession of Stolen Essential Parts  - Class 2 Felony 
  • Possession Of Methamphetamines - Class 3 Felony
  • Criminal Damage to Property Over $10,000 but less than $100,000. - Class 3 Felony 
  • Violation of Pre-Trial Release - Class 4 Felony 
  • Illegal Possession of Titles - Class 4 Felony
  • Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia - Class A Misdemeanor
  • Criminal Damage to Property Under $500- Class A Misdemeanor 

All three were taken to the Williamson County Jail.
