CARTERVILLE, Ill (WSIL) -- Finding Forever Animal Rescue and Thrift Store needs your help.

The shelter's main source of income comes from their store but COVID-19 has kept shoppers away.

The money raised from the shop goes back to the direct care of the animals.

Becca Baird, Director of the rescue says they're now posting items online and are able to do curbside pick-up.

"We intake over 600 a year so there's a lot of vet bills, a lot of food, litter, things like that and our main source of income is our thrift store and fundraisers. Obviously we can't have a lot of fundraisers with Covid as well. A few of those got cancelled so it's been hard not having as many customers as we were before COVID," says Baird.

Baird says they also accept donations at the back of their store during regular business hours.
