77-Year-Old Man With Alzheimer's Located After Reported Missing in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. -- UPDATE: April 28, 7:44 p.m. - Kenneth D. Gant has been located.

The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency alerted the public Mr. Gant was located and cancelled the missing person advisory.

ORIGINAL: April 28, 5:41 p.m. - A man living with Alzheimer's has gone missing out of Franklin County. 

The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency alerted residents to the disappearance of Kenneth D. Gant, 77. The alert describes Gant as a 6' 01'' white male who weighs 195 pounds and has gray hair and blue eyes. A picture was not provided. 

Officials say Gant was last spotted leaving Franklin Hospital around 1:47 p.m. on Sunday. He wore a blue t-shirt, blue jeans and a tan Carhart style jacket at the time. 

Those who may have information on Gant should call the Benton Police Department at 618-435-8131.
