GRAND TOWER, Ill. � A southeast Missouri man reeled in a very large fish from the Mississippi River on Friday.
This massive fish was caught in the Grand Tower area near Tower Rock.
JE Wiseman tells us he was using a 50 pound test line on a nine foot pole when he hooked the massive catfish. He and his friend Randy Lincoln couldn’t pull it in the boat and tells us they had to drag it over to a dike and then pull it to shore.
Wiseman says the fish weighed 91 pounds and was more than 53 inches long.
