The Williamson County Sheriff's Office to Facebook on Saturday morning detailing the arrest of two suspects from August 8. According to the post, deputies stopped a car for breaking traffic rules at the intersection of Deyoung and Court Streets in Marion around 2:38 a.m.Â
The sheriff's office says deputies identified the driver as Scott L. Essary. Essary and a passenger, Morgan B. Tarr, were asked to leave the vehicle as K9 Officer Shadow sniffed the inside. Officials say the search yielded drug paraphernalia with Methamphetamine residue.Â
Deputies revealed that, as Tarr exited the vehicle, she placed a bag in her jacket pocket. Tarr was searched, and the bag was revealed to include 1.4 grams of Meth.Â
Essary also reportedly told deputies the center console of the car contained meth.Â
The deputies brought Essary and Tarr to the Williamson County Jail. According to the sheriff's office, the pair face the following charges:
- Essary
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- No Registration Light
- Tarr
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
