Franklin County officials investigate child's death

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. -- The Franklin County Sheriff's Department is working on an open investigation into the death of a child. 

A member of News 3 spoke to a dispatcher at the office who confirmed the investigation. At this time, it is unclear where the victim is from or any details surrounding the situation. 

The team has called multiple officials and will report back as soon as we get more information.
