HERRIN, Ill. -- A new laundromat held its official ribbon cutting on Wednesday. 

Wonder Wash in Herrin held its grand opening ceremony Wednesday afternoon in Herrin. The location is the business' latest location in Southern Illinois, joining Anna, Carterville, Du Quoin, Goreville, Marion, Mounds and Sparta. 

The Wonder Wash serves as a place for residents to wash their clothes. The new location sits at 1106 S. Park Ave. It will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

The cutting took place at noon on Wednesday.
