FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. -- Officials airlifted one man out after a rollover crash in Franklin County on Thursday morning.

Craigory D. Alderson, 25, of Benton suffered "significant injuries" from the crash. Air Evacuation officials brought him to a regional hospital.

Deputies responded to the crash around 2:10 a.m. on Thursday, June 20. Alderson's car was reportedly the only vehicle involved. Officials say his car rolled over on North Thompsonville Road near Akin Blacktop.

Cave-Eastern Fire Department, Abbott-AMR and Air Evacuation helped the Franklin County Sheriff's Office with the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing into Alderson's crash.

This crash is separate from the one Wednesday night that sent six to the hospital.
