MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- Officials took a man to a local hospital on Friday after he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle.Â
Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene of the crash at Blandville and N. Gum Springs Roads at about 11:03 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. Initial reports tipped the department that a crash had occurred and involved injuries.Â
Deputies say they arrived on the scene to find Lucas Dassing, 43, with a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. The department believes Dassing drove west bound on Blandville Road when he lost control.Â
Emergency officials were called in to bring Dassing to the hospital for injuries described as "non-incapacitating."
The Concord Fire Department and the Mercy Regional EMS also aided at the scene.Â
As always, officials remind the community to practice safety while operating or driving around a motorcycle.Â
