Marion Police welcome two officers

MARION, Ill. -- The Marion Police Department announced the induction of two new officers Wednesday morning. 

Officers McBride and Wadas were sworn into the department this week. The team posted pictures of the ceremony to its  page to congratulate the pair. 

"Congratulations and best wishes as [McBride and Wadas] begin this important journey serving Marion," wrote the Marion Police. "We're excited to have them on board and look forward to the positive impact they'll make in our community."
