Marion's Fox Comics hosts Free Comic Book Day

MARION, Ill. -- Fox Comics in Marion hopes to get new readers into the world of comics.

The store hosted a Free Comic Book Day event on Saturday. Hundreds of people visited Fox Comics to browse free comics. Some of the offerings specifically targeted those new, young readers.

Local artists were also present at the event to produce custom drawings for guests. 

Free Comic Book Day started in 2002.
