McCracken County sheriffs promoting, teaching hunter safety

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- The McCracken County Sheriff's Office will allow minors to learn the skills required to fire guns and promote hunter safety.Ìý

The session includes two portions: a written test followed by a physical firearm portion. The events begin on March 19 with a written test form 5:00 p.m. and last until 9:00 p.

Following the test, participants will get a chance to shoot guns on March 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Attendees need to report for 3919 Cairo Road for this portion.Ìý

The office is excited to have its deputies interact with attendees of this course in March.Ìý
