POPE COUNTY, Ill. -- The storms are over, and it's time to have a parade!
The Rural Pose County Fire Protection District posted on  Thursday morning to invite residents to parades celebrating this year's graduates. The celebrations will kick off Thursday night and continue on Friday evening.Â
Thursday marks the graduation of the county's grade school students. The ceremony will occur at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Gym.
Friends and family are encouraged to line the park around 6:30 p.m. to cheer on the students as they march through the town afterward. The event will continue on through Golconda.Â
The post did not give specifics for Friday, but it can be assumed the event will be similar for the high school students.Â
