SBA opens loan center in Williamson County for tornado aid

MARION, Ill. (WSIL) -- The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is set to open a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in response to the tornado which struck Williamson County on May 16, 2025.

The center will operate from June 23, 2025, through July 3, 2025, at 500 North Holland Street in Marion, Illinois. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The facility will be closed on Sunday.

Representatives from the SBA will assist residents and businesses affected by the tornado with loan applications and provide program information.

Disaster assistance includes low-interest loans for repairing or replacing damaged property and Economic Injury Disaster Loans for small businesses and nonprofits.

Residents are encouraged to visit the DLOC for personalized assistance. Applications can also be submitted online starting June 23, 2025, via the .
