Two arrested in Livingston County, KY after officials execute search warrant

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. -- A search of a home in Livingston County led to the arrest of two people. 

Officials with the Livingston County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 202 Wilson Street in Smithland on Friday. Deputies say the search yielded Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. 

Suspects Donald "Mark" Hannan, 33, and Kailey Watkins, 31, were taken into custody. 

Hannan faces charges for First-Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Watkins could receive charges of First-Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Officials say these arrests work to meet the county's goal of better the community by fighting drug-related crimes. 

The investigation is ongoing.
