MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- Two children, their mom and a senior woman were brought to local hospitals after a car crash on Saturday.Â
Officials with the county's sheriff department responded to the scene at the 16-mile marker on I-24 eastbound around 3:48 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. Investigators revealed details surrounding the crash.Â
Deputies on the scene say Diane Dedvidek, 37, drove a 2021 Ford Bronco eastbound on the highway. Additionally, they revealed Vicki Sharp, 71, drove a 2019 Buick Encore on the same road. The two cars reportedly collided and left the I-24.Â
The cars flipped over into the median and the exit 16 on-ramp because of the crash. Reports reveal both Dedvidek and Sharp required mechanical extraction from their vehicles.Â
Nedvidek, her two children, and Sharp were all brought to local hospitals for injuries. No word was given on the severity of the impacts, but none of the victims passed out from the wounds.
The Reidland Fire Department and Mercy Regional Ambulance helped at the site.Â
