Two individuals hospitalized after three-car crash in Graves County

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. -- Two individuals have been sent to the hospital on Tuesday after a three-car crash near Tri-City.聽

The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. near KY-94 and Beech Grove Road.聽

Author Litwiller,聽54, of Farmington was turning off the eastbound side of KY-94 into his home when Heather McPherson, 47, of Sedalia, collided with him from the westbound side. William Meade, 61, of Sedalia, then hit McPherson's car as he had been behind her at the time of the collision.聽

Meade was traveling with a passenger, Marlene Meade, at the time of the crash. Both of the Meades were driven to the Murray-Calloway County Hospital by Mayfield/Graves County EMS. Their injuries were described as "non-life-threatening."聽

The Graves County Sheriff's Office handled the investigation of the crash with help from Mayfield/Graves County EMS, the Sedalia Fire Department and the Cuba Fire Department.聽
