Two arrested in McCracken county for drugs tied to Fentanyl

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- McCracken County officials arrested two individuals after finding drugs and connections thousands of Fentanyl pills in separate investigations.

Officials stopped Bryan Cook, 32, on Schneidman Road Thursday afternoon after they bought a controlled amount of Meth from the individual. A search of Cook's car turned out over 50 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, a bulletproof vest, money police believe came from drug sales and drug paraphernalia.

Later Thursday evening, officials caught Joseph Tyree, 28. The car Tyree rode in was stopped by deputies on Lone Oak and Highland Boulevard around 6:21 p.m. Officials said a search of the vehicle found over 600 grams of Crystal Meth and drug paraphernalia. 

Officials discovered Tyree on probation for a felony at the time of this arrest.

Tied to these arrests, officials in Christian County arrested two more individuals for drugs and Fentanyl pills. 

Cook and Tyree remained in the McCracken County Region Jail.Â
