Two Kentucky men sent to federal prison for Meth possession

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- Two Kentucky men received time in federal prison on Tuesday for Methamphetamine trafficking. 

Fabian Thomas, 34, of Mayfield, KY and Puryear, TN, received 14 years in federal custody. Upon release, Thomas will face five years of supervision. These sentences come as a result of two counts of Methamphetamine possession with the intent to distribute from April 21, 2022. He also received two charges for distribution on April 4 and 22, 2022. 

Another man, Ronald McClure, 37, of Paducah, KY and Peachtree City, GA, received federal time on March 26. McClure received a 15 year sentence in federal prison before five years of supervised release. He was arrested on a charge of Meth possession with the intent to distribute over 50 grams from April 21, 2022. 

Federal prisons do not allow for parole. 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office investigated the situation with help from the Marshall County Sheriff's Office and the DEA Paducah Post of Duty.
