GOBLER, Mo. -- Two people were flown out to a regional hospital after a three-vehicle crash in southeast Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said the crash happened on Friday evening, at 5:18 p.m. along Route NN, roughly one mile north of Gobler in Dunklin County.

State police said a 38-year-old female was from Pollard, Arkansas, and was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala when she passed a 2010 Ford F150 and then hit a 2012 Kia Optima head on. The Ford F150 then crashed into the Impala.

The driver of the Kia Optima was a 21-year-old female from Steele.

MSHP reported both the 21-year-old and the 38-year-old were air-lifted to Region One in Memphis for treatment.

The driver of the Ford F150 was a 16-year-old from Bartlett, Tennessee. The report from state police said the F150 had minor damage, while the Impala and Optima both were totaled.
