December 26th evening forecast with Meteorologist Nick Boynton

CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- It looks as though the clouds and on and off rain chances will continue through the new year. As we progress through Saturday we start the weekend dry but Saturday evening into the overnight another low pressure moves over our area. It will bring more widespread shower activity and even a few thunderstorms with it. Nothing severe expected at this time.

Rain Chances

Generally, we expect another 1-2 inches of rain over the next 5 days. The rain will linger into the day on Sunday and so will the warm weather. Temperatures will stay in the upper 50s and low 60s for highs through next Monday. We eventually return to winter like temperatures as we end the week out next week.
