VIENNA, Ill. (WSIL) -- Police in Vienna continue their search for suspects they say are armed and dangerous.

Vienna Police Chief Jim Miller described what happened after the suspect walked in the door.

"We believe the person that committed the armed robbery is dangerous because he did shove a customer and he did have a razor type blade knife and he did put it up against the customer and pushed him."

Police said the suspect then left and jumped into a getaway vehicle with an accomplice and then took off.

"The getaway car is a 2017 to 2024, Jeep Compass, gray in color,' Miller said. "We do have a partial plate and we are currently working with state authorities about ascertaining the owner of the car. And, we're going through some more security videos, different locations and asking the public to check their Ring cameras in Vienna that lived near the shopping center."

In an update, police said the vehicle is a 2022-2024 Jeep Compass with a crystal metallic grey color. Police said the vehicle decals on the rear glass with one resembling Kansas City Chiefs logo.

If you do have any Ring camera videos of the suspected vehicle, you are asked to submit them to police.

Police say if you do recognize the suspect, to not approach them as they are considered armed and dangerous. Instead, call the Vienna Police Department at (618) 658-7004.
