...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Peak heat index values up to near 105.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ this evening.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged hot temperatures and high humidity may cause
heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Woman steals half of bread order from Murphysboro Farm Fresh

MURPHYSBORO (WSIL) -- The Murphysboro Farm Fresh is asking for the public's help after some of their order was stolen. 

The store posted on Facebook a woman stole half of their bread order, 54 loaves, around 4 a.m. Wednesday. 

The store is offering a reward for any information leading to prosecution. 

Murphysboro Farm Fresh is also reminding customers that cameras are posted around the entire store.
