CHRISTOPHER, Ill. -- A high school football game has been postponed and moved due to storm damage on Friday night.
Storms moved through the southern Illinois region, bringing with it lots of rain and lightning during when schools were playing football games.
The Christopher High School Athletics announced on Friday night the Christopher vs Hamilton County game is postponed and will resume tomorrow at Tabor Field at the Benton High School.
The announcement also stated this was due to damage received at their football field and facilities from the storm on Friday night.
The game was halted with 6:22 to play in the second quarter with a score of 8-0 favoring Hamilton County.
The game will resume at noon on Saturday, September 14 at Benton. There will be no admission for tomorrow's game.
