...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Peak daily heat index values up to around 105 degrees.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged hot temperatures and high humidity may
cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out
of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early
morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat
exhaustion and heat stroke.

10 Years Later � Du Quoin’s 2011 3rd Place Team Reunites

Du Quoin (WSIL)-- It's been 10 years since Du Quoin's 2011 high school baseball team took 3rd place at the state Championships. Yesterday the team got back together to reminisce on some of their favorite moments from that special season.
