Benton Golf star & Paducah native River Stilley commits to University of Cincinnati
BENTON, IL (WSIL) -Karli Mann, Jersey Summers, Amiah Hargrove, and Amayah Doyle, are some of the top high school female athletes in our area who recently made their college decisions.
One of the top male athletes in Southern Illinois is Benton's River Stilley. He is off to play division one golf at the University of Cincinnati.
This is massive for one of the top young golf standouts in our area.
River Stilley takes his game into the Big 12 and we expect him to play well at the next level with the bearcats.
River's name should sound familiar. He landed a hole-in-one at the Anna-Jonesboro regional during the post-season.
The Paducah native helped the Rangers earn their fifth straight regional championship.
The BCHS product was also the only golfer representing southern Illinois in both the 2022 and 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship.
