CHARLESTON (WSIL) -- Here are results from athletes from the WSIL viewing area that competed in the Class 2A Girls Track & Field State Meet from Charleston, Illinois.
Marion's Janae Maxwell finished in 16th place in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.73.
Massac County's Ansley Bailey finished in 11th place in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 1:01.27.
Anna-Jonesboro's Brodie Denny finished in7th place in the 800 Meter Dash with a time of 2:21.84. Denny also came in 23rd place in the 1600 MeterRun with a time of 5:51.43.
Marion's 4x200 relay team came in tenth place with a time of 1:46.60.
Carbondale's 4x800 relay team came in 16th place with a time of 10.22.44
Carbondale's Madyson Swope finished 8th in the discuss throw with a distance of 35.62 meters (116 feet, 10 inches). Swope came in fourth in the shot put with a distance of 11.76 meters (38 feet, 6.9 inches)
Marion's Maryiah Menicucci came in fifth in the shot put with a distance of 11.75 meters (38 feet, 6 inches)
Herrin's Karli Mann finished seventh in the triple jump with a jump of 10.75 meters (35 feet, 3 inches)
Team Results: Carbondale - 35th place, 8 points; Marion came in 43rd with 5 points; Anna-Jonesboro and Herrin tied for 47th with 3 points each.
