ELDORADO (WSIL) -- It's a special day for two players committing to play college football, but it's even more special for one family.
"I always watched TV and watching them guys go at it and always dreamed of doing the same thing," Eldorado senior Jacob Etienne said.
"Always been a dream of mine to play at the next level," Eldorado senior Creed Justice said.
Creed and Jacob are cousins both planning to play Division 3 ball at Knox College. They are even planning on rooming together.
"We've been so close for our entire lives especially on the field it wouldn't be the same without him out there next to me," Creed said.
Eldorado head football coach Joe Clark could tell these two were something special.
"They are great leaders always working hard always showing up always doing things the right way, and their play demonstrated that with how well they helped our team have success on the field," Clark said.
It seems football just runs in this family. Creed's grandfather was Joe Clark's head football coach when he was playing making this moment even more special.
"It all comes full circle. Carl Justice was my high school coach. He was a good coach and in my life when I was young, and hope I've given back a little back to his family by helping Creed and Jacob as well."
"Now Coach Clark has coached my son, so it's kind of been a full circle thing, and it's meant a lot to us," Creed's dad Preston Justice said.
For Creed, this next step is a way for him to carry out his grandfather's legacy.
"He never actually got to watch me play and now he's looking down on me, so it's always going to be a factor in playing football and going to the next level," Creed Justice said.
The two boys have a whole family of support behind them.
"Yes, we plan on carpooling to college."
