An 8th grade student from the Marion Junior High School represented Illinois and played in the USSSA All State Nationals in Viera, Florida.
Ragen Elam is a student at Marion Junior High School and played as part of the 14C Snowball Brigade in the tournament from December 28-31.
The Snowball Brigade were ranked fourth in their bracket. They defeated the Elves Xtreme 6-2 first, then won 7-5 over Silver Bells.Â
The championship game was against the Dreamy Dashers. They ended up winning 10-0 to take the National Championship.
