OMAHA, Neb. (WSIL) -- The Murray State baseball team is looking to avoid elimination in the Men's College World Series with a win over #3 Arkansas on Monday afternoon.
The Racers will play Arkansas on June 16, at 1 p.m. CST.
Murray State (44-16-0) is coming in as just the fourth regional four-seed in the College World Series, which is equivalent of a 13-16 seed reaching the Elite Eight of an NCAA basketball tournament, according to ESPN.
On Saturday, No. 15 UCLA defeated Murray State 6-4.
If Murray State wins against Arkansas, they will then advance to face off against either No. 6 LSU or No. 15 UCLA on June 17, at 6 p.m. CST.
