COLUMBIA, MO (WSIL) The Saluki men had the week to prepare for their road trip to Missouri today. SIU’s men’s basketball team looked to get back on track and gain some momentum before conference play just 15 days away.

Unfortunately, not much went well for the Salukis. Freshman Marcus Domask who was averaging nearly 15 points a game, went 0 for 4 from the floor. SIU’s offense was the team’s downfall. The team shot 29% for the game only making 7 field goals.

On a positive note, the Saluki’s showed some aggression in the second half. SIU went to the foul line 26 times converting on 23 free throws.

SIU will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they host Hampton at 7pm.
