Du Quoin (WSIL) -- It was a fun afternoon it was hanging out at Du Quoin High School where SIU football Head Coach Nick Hill hosted a free youth clinic for children ages kindergarten through 4th grade.
This was one of several clinics held throughout southern Illinois. Other clinics were held at Johnson city and Chester. The kids participated in various drill and workouts finishing with a friendly scrimmage. Several SIU football players were in attendance teaching the kids some new skills.
Du Quoin is a special place for Head Coach Nick Hill who played high school for the Indians.
Its also a special place wide receiver Hunter Milligan who also grew up in Southern Illinois and played over at Marion High school. Both spoke about the value of giving back to their home town.
