CARBONDALE (SIU ATHLETICS) -- The Missouri Valley Conference has postponed the Southern Illinois-Missouri State men's basketball game (Jan. 21) from JQH Arena, in Springfield, Mo., due to positive COVID-19 test results among Southern Illinois' Tier I personnel, which consists of student-athletes, coaches, managers and staff.ÌýÌý

The game, however, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10.Ìý It will air on the main channel of FOX Midwest and Kansas City, and the plus channel on FOX Indiana and the plus channel on NBC Sports Chicago at 7:00 p.m. CT.Ìý Scott Warmann and Rich Zvosec will call the game from Springfield, Mo.

And after spending much of the week looking for an opponent to fill an open weekend on the men's basketball schedule, Missouri State head coach Dana Ford announced Friday evening the addition of a home game this Sunday (Jan. 17) against regional foe Missouri S&T at JQH Arena.Ìý The game will tip off at 5 p.m. CT and is contingent upon both teams clearing NCAA COVID-19 testing protocols on game day.Ìý The game will not be televised.
