
WSIL(Carterville, Ill.)-- This morning, all of us are finally waking up to calmer conditions after an extremely active afternoon and evening yesterday. Temperatures overall are as much as 10 to 15 degrees cooler than they were this time yesterday.Â
As we go throughout the morning hours, we will see temperatures likely stay in the upper 60s and lower 70s. We will see plenty of sunshine.Â
Highs today are going to be in the upper 70s and lower 80s with mostly sunny skies. We will see wind gusts likely around 20 miles per hour, and possibly as high as 25 miles per hour.Â
This evening, skies will continue to be mostly sunny and mostly clear through the overnight hours. This will help us cool down into the upper 50s for early tomorrow morning.Â
Sunshine will continue through the day tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s.Â
Overall, the remainder of this week looks to be dry with temperatures running slightly below normal.Â
