CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- A much different start to this Tuesday than yesterday. Calm and cooler conditions with temperatures in the 40s this morning. Clouds will stick around for western Kentucky the longest while SIL and SEMO will see mostly sunny conditions by daybreak. Eventually as we progress through the afternoon everyone will see the sunshine. High temperatures will be in the low 50s.Â
December 17th morning Forecast with Meteorologist Nick Boynton
As we progress through the evening we will see clouds roar back in from the SW. Another area of disturbed weather moves over us. SEMO will see showers by 6-8PM and everyone else in the viewing area by 7-9PM through the overnight. This round not as heavy as the last as I expect less than an inch of rain generally for the whole region. Some light showers may linger Wednesday morning.Â
