Great Weekend Ahead Before an Unsettled Start to Next Week

Temperatures

Carterville Ill. (WSIL) -- A great start to the weekend is on tap with that cold front finally moving out of the region last night. Our temperatures are back into the 80s. Our dewpoints have dropped a bit so that our temperatures don't feel so oppressive as they have over the past few days. Not only that but we are dealing with dry conditions as well for the weekend just in time! So if you have any outdoor plans or you're cleaning up from last nights storms the conditions are looking perfect for any outdoor occasion.

Rain chances

We will have to watch tropical storm Beryl over the next few days as the remnants of this storm could recurve into our area next week increasing the amount of moisture across our area. Regardless if we see its remnant low over our region we will have a trough of low pressure moving by as well so expect an increased shot at showers and storms throughout next week.
